The Devlet Geray Battalion has received a new vehicle, purchased with funds donated by Crimeans and Ukrainians living abroad. This was announced by Elvis Çolpuh, president of the Assembly of Crimean Organizations.

The fundraiser to purchase a pickup truck began during a screening of the feature film “Haytarma” in Germany. The event’s guest of honor was the film’s director, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar artist, and current military servicemember Akhtem Seitablaiev.

Ukraine Hilfe Berlin and Ukrajina Cinema helped raise funds to purchase the vehicle. Crimean Tatars living in Germany, representatives of the Ukrainian community, and concerned friends of Ukraine joined the charitable initiative, uniting around a common goal: to support those who risk their lives every day to protect others.

The vehicle will be handed over to the battalion's medics, who are evacuating the wounded.
